My tomatoe plants have suddenly started to develope dark patches on the main trunk and the leaves have started to die and look all brown, I have only feed with tomatoe feed and watered also put some slug pellets down any ideas will be welcome.

I'm afraid that sounds like blight. Pick all the tomatoes, green or not, and burn the plants. Don't compost them!

Thank will do, they are looking very sick and lot of the toms have got marks on them and very reluctant to use them will all go in the fire, sham because they looked healthy and the toms have been good we have eaten quite a few,but there you go.
All this seems to have happened inside two to three weeks.

Thanks Terry

Blight does hit fast, and it's a real nuisance. I've given up growing tomatoes because of the last two just became more trouble than it was worth!
