Did you have the gladioli last year, or were they planted new this year?

Mine flowered the same year I planted them, but what was wierd is that mine flowered really early and died off, just as everyone else's were starting to flower.

Depends when you plant them, Alex, as well as what variety - I didn't put mine in till end of May, they've been in flower for the last 5 days - they're very tall ones.

Bought the bulbs last May, and planted them in a pot and out in the garden in June.

I will move the bulbs into a sunnier area... i don't think they like the place they are planted in :(
