When do I take the seed heads off my Peoney to collect the seeds, the pods are still green and seeds are small, do they need to swell up in the pods???? Jackie :o)

Wait till they actually open. To be honest if they have not opened now then it is most likely that the seeds are no use anyway. I have sown the ones which came on ours a month or so ago.
