Can you take cuttings from a Fuchsia Riccartonii and Honeysuckle Plants and if so when is the best time to do this and how?

Hi, it depends on which species of honeysuckle you have, if it's a deciduous type, then you can take hardwood cuttings now, but if it's an evergreen species, cuttings should be taken in summer, the Fuchsia, you can take softwood cuttings in spring, or semi ripe cuttings in late summer, but you need bottom heat for these, so a bit late, but you could try some if you have an electric propagator, Derek.

Fuchsias root most readily in the Spring. The new shoots usually root quite readily in water, (take several, and cut the stems just below a leaf node. Or you can put them in pots with a polybag over to keep the air humid.
Oops sorry Derek just noticed you said almost the same thing...
