Deadly nightshade or tomato?

Worcestershire, United Kingdom Gb

Last year we spread a large quantity of cow manure over our newly acquired garden. Previously the beds were nothing but conifers and darkness. While we were away in July, the weeds we acquired with the manure took over and grew to gigantic proportions! One type of plant which has appeared in profusion is proving mysterious - could these be tomato plants? or is it deadly nightshade?

It looks very like nightshade to me and, if so, will produce berries rather than tomatoes. These will rapidly seed it everywhere. The only thing to do is pull it all up. Hope this is helpful.

Thanks very much Susan. Very helpful. I've dug it all up, and found a newly planted bush I'd forgotten about!
