Can any of our members I.D. this poor description of a Pine cone from Australian.
Cone size - about 8" - 10" long, 3.5" - 4" wide.
weights about 0.5 Kg and is as hard as a coconut.
The ones I saw were in North East N.S.W.
And I didn't even think to get a photo.
Sorry to be so vague. :-((

Sounds a bit small to be an Araucaria, to me, and bit too long to be a Wollemi Pine. Hmmm.
