Suffolk/Norfolk border, United Kingdom Gb

I sowed some wild flower seeds and this is what has grown. Can anyone tell me what it is.. I notice later that the leaves are not confined to the base - they also come from the flowering part of the stem. I will take another pic when the rain stops!

On plant Celosia

Hi, I'm no expert but the flower looks like my neighbour's Sumac, tho leaves don't at all. It's certainly exotic.

The flower is a bit like sumac but this seems to be a herbaceous plant. It looks like a variety of Celosia plumosa. There seem to be a lot of different ones, some with reddish leaves.

Thanks for your swift responses!

Looks like Amaranthus caudatus/ Love-lies Bleeding.

I think it is a Celosia, because the flowers stand upright, and Amaranthus lies bleeding. I dont think you could call it wild, not in Britain anyway.

How do I say thanks?
