Guess it depends on the condition of the old posts. If your typing errors affect the answer please would you retype them - you can add it as a comment under the question.

if the posts are sound then yes there is no reason why not. but check them at ground level.

Are you using old pallets to make your fence and need to add height at the top or length at the bottom to put in the ground?
