i have clumps of clear jelly looking stuff all over my back garden,any idea what is causing this.i have a problem with slugs and snails,im putting down pellets do you think that this may be the cause of this goo

I have had a similar Fungus appear on a path that gets waterlogged whenever it rains.. I believe there is a chemical treatnment available but I rake mine up and chuck it on a piece of waste ground. It keeps it clear for a while.
