Hi i brought these hoppers today i dont know why as i dont know where i am going to beable to place them lol.The size of them are approx 16 inches long ,7 inch wide and 8 inches deep.If anyone as got any good suggestions as to what i could grow in them would be great as im sure i will find a place then for them lol.

They are great Mark, maybe put them on an outside wall or either side of front door and fill them with winter pansies and then next summer some nice 'bedding' plants like trailing geraniums, bizzie lizzies, lobelia etc.

I agree with Grandmage, are the bits sticking out of the bottom hollow, if they are not may be you could drill them and they would act as the drainage hole, but be carefull as they look like cast iron

They are/were part of a rain gutter system and are designed to go on the house wall. Do as Grandmage suggests; I like the idea of either side of the door.

Hi to all thankyou for your responces.I have now hung them between my pear and apple tree and i think they look ok.I will certainately look into the pansies etc for flowering for them.I have now got a week at work to decide on my final decision for them and will sort it out now next weekend .Photos will follow.
