We have inherited this plant, it started just as a small shoot about two months ago and is growing very quickly.
Please can anyone tell us what it is?

It is a Eucomis or Pineapple Lily.

It was given a generous pot, so it has done you proud with five blooms. The bulbs can get very large and make offsets which bloom the same season. When the flowers dry off on the plant they make attractive papery seed heads that you can use as dried material indoors. I like them, they are very rewarding to grow in a good sized pot. Makes a good accent plant on a patio. It appears to have no pests, apart from vine weevil at the roots. Keep well watered.
