Anyone know this geranium? Pretty insignificant. In the bottom pic is supposed to be Birch's double, still hasn't flowered so no idea if it is:-)

The one supposed to be Birch's double is to the right of unknown geranium:

In flower now - could be 'Gravetye'...it isn't a double flower is it????

I'll look the other one up...it's unusual in having both brown blotched leaves, plus the white and pink flower at this time of year.

The leaves were very heavily marked earlier on, in fact it was more noticable than the small sparodic flowers. These pics flatter!:-)

Could be Geranium versicolour?

I've looked Bamboo, but no leaf blotches although similar flowers.

this one's a bit odd, because they're supposed to have leaf blotches, but some have loads (like yours) and others only slight blotching and others none at all.

I think Grindle's right - I've checked my books, and I think it's G. oxonianum 'Walter's Gift'. The leaves are right, so are the flowers.

I've looked at Walters gift and it is similar, but it says deeper pink in spring and it has always looked whitish. I think it may have developed from oWG in the same way your rubbishy pink ones have from your nice pink originals Spritz. I still think it's going in the compost:-)

Bye-bye Walter's gift! :-((

Think I agree with you Bornagain - doesn't look like a keeper, really, does it, lol!

I'd go with WG, and as you say Ba, he should have it back :-D

Lol its fate is sealed:-)

Gone - and forgotten??

Nearly, but it's raining:-)

What? Where? There? Certainly not here...and it had better not today, either. Our decorator is painting all the outside window frames, and today he's erecting a scaffold tower over the porch to get to the 'difficult' middle window. It's sunny at the moment, though, so I think we'll be OK.

Poured down here on and off all day, no watering yay:-)

12 Aug, 2010

We had three drops...then it went away, so the window frames are all weather-proof and the decorator has gone! That's worth a 'Yay' as well! :-))

12 Aug, 2010

Yay to you too then:-))

Thanks, Ba. :-)

Morning Spritz:-) All well? :-)

13 Aug, 2010

Hallo Ba. Nothing over night, thank goodness....so that's good. xx
