Penstemon cuttings. I have 2 cuttings taken earlier this year, both have rooted well and are about 2 inches tall and looking healthy. I am unsure where to over winter them, at the moment they are on my north facing kitchen window sill. Should I leave them there or move them out doors? I do have an unheated greenhouse. I really want them to survive as the colour of the parent plant is beautiful. Thank you

I would suggest moving into the unheated greenhouse for most oof the time but bringing into to a cool windowsill for the few nights when the temperature is forecast to be dire.

I leave mine in the unheated greenhouse and keep barely moist and they come through well every year.

Thank you, I have left them out during the day these last couple of days, we have had some sharp frosts here in West Yorkshire, so have brought them in during the night. I think after a week or so of this I will leave them in the greenhouse as you do and hope for the best.

How do I say thanks?
