Ants
Asked on 11 Aug, 2008
I have a rose and clematis in a tub and ants are building the soil up around the stems of the rose. What is the best way to get rid of them and stop them doing this ?

Lap some cloth around the base and keep it soaked with vinegar preferably cider vinegar. This should keep the ants at bay. Regards

Simple but the tub in a bosh of water for about half an hour this will do two things 1.eliminate the ants and 2. give the roots a good soaking at the same time
Hope this helps
