My sago palm grew a long spike out of the cone this christmas. I kept it indoors over winter. Thank you for all your comments.
I brought it out last week, what has happened to my cherished sago please. Can I cut all the stems off please

If it was suddenly exposed to direct sun, it might have gotten sunburned. I would just cut off the leaves, and leave it in the sun--the new batch of leaves will be used to the sun, and nicely compact. The pot looks like the right size to me, but I would feed it lightly, since it will need extra nutrients to regenerate the fronds.
