update on garden feeder

attatched a planter base to the underside of my niger seed feeder and the goldfinches are now feeding without depositing half the seed on my garden......

I've had a niger seed feeder to attract goldfinches out for months without a single one coming!!!! Wish they'd take the hint...

spritzhenry, we found that they only came in for a quick drink , so we sited the feeder next to the water feature and within days they had found the seed. you could try this , you never know!!
