iv moved my 4ft alpine tree from one end of the garden to the other and its turned from green to brown anybody got any clue why and what i should do

The first thing is do you have the latin for this plants. Moving trees at this time of years is very tricky and loss could be causing the tree to turn brown. Autumn is always the best time to move plants especially trees. Try scrapping a slitter of the stem to reviel so bark if is freen then is seems to ok however if is starting to go brown it may be dieing.

As Elwood says which tree are you talking about? You will need to join GoY Guest and explain more. In general terms now is not a good time to move any tree!
