I have a 'rescued' garden shrub which is about 8 foot tall with cane like stems and small white flowers which are just appearing from red foliage and pinate leaves. I have no idea what this is. I have watered it regularly and it seems to be OK. Can you identify?

this isnt Japanese knotweed is it? google it and see.

could it be a nandina domestica although they usually only grow to 6ft..
