Tomatos

I have tomatoes on my plant but because of the poor weather they are not ripening. Can you tell me how else i can ripen them and at what size i should pick green tomatoes for ripening?

put them in a paper bag then pop them in the airing cupboard for about four days they will soon turn red and very tasty..

Or .... make Green Tomato Chutney to go with cold meats. Even tastier!

my mum used to pick the green tomatoes and put them in a paper bag with a ripe banana and over the a few days to a week they went red.
