Why won't my jasmine flower that is being grown in a pot and is just always evergreen

Not sure which one you have, but this plant will need a container that is 2 feet deep by 18 inches to 2 feet wide as a minimum to grow properly, and even then, it will be severely restricted by lack of room, always better in the ground. Also requires sun, regular watering and feeding in a pot. Also, if you prune it, you may well be cutting off the growths that would have flowered had you left them.
