any ideas ,please , i have allowed my strawberry plants to multiply from last years plants.they look very healthy,But have no fruit. should i dig them up and replace the plants with new ones next year.puzzled swansea

If they are new plants from runners they will not be strong enough to produce fruit. Cut off any runners and feed your plants for next year. Are they earlies, mid season or lates, if lates there is still time to produce some fruit.

Yes remove all the runners to make one large plant, if you have any gaps leave one or two runners to make plants to fill them. Watch out for ants they will kill off some of your plants. Sorry you have lost some of your crops, it's very difficult, I lost some strawberries to a huge rabbit.
