brown crisp yukka

Asked on 25 Nov, 2007

my normally healthy 7ft indoor yukka has recently began to turn crispy on the leaf tips from the bottom of the plant slowly creeping upwards over a few months. it is worsening and the crispy brown tips are moving down the leaf. there has been no change in the care or treatment of the plant , it looks burnt but there are no reasons for this. help someone please!!

you could try to repot it! - although i think this is best done in the spring, maybe try giving it a good top dressing for now and then try repotting after the winter. the other comon cause of these symptoms in house plants is central heating, have you moved its position recently - if so check its not near any radiators etc. hope this helps.
