burned skin

I was gardening the other night and within a couple of hours three burn marks appeared on my forehead and side of my nose, but nothing on my hands. ~Are there plants which burn if pulled up or mowed? The marks are the size as if I had touched my face with my finger? Have you any ideas?

You certainlyu have to be very careful and ware gloves and wash hands.
I also have got some nasty bits o nmy skin thisweek now very itchy.
