Hardy Geraniums
Hardy Geraniums
Asked on 31 Jul, 2008
I have purchased a collection of hardy geraniums, which are a large plug size, is it best for these to be planted in pots to grow bigger, or can I plant direct into the ground. (No details given from the grower)

Definitely pot on and grow them to a decent size - but outside, not in the greenhouse. I reckon you could plant them out in about a month's time to give them time to get established. I'm doing that with three G.phaeum 'Album' at the moment.
