I want to plant a net fence climber to create privacy between gardens. but it must look good, and be low maintainence

Why not go for one of the many varieties of Clematis, or maybe - Passion Flower.

How about an evergreen winter-flowering Clematis - one of the cirrhosas - and something else to flower at a different time? If you are planting for privacy it will have to be evergreen, won't it?
