I have a container of Nemesia amelia. They are not bushy, but have long stems with blooms at the top.Is this normal or do I have to cut them back. There are no dead blooms to remove.

On plant Nemesia

They should not be long and stringy. You can cut them back to where the stems are strong and fresh. It will do no harm except delay flowering for a while. You will get much better plants in the long run.
