does this palm survive replanting easily

Hmm, well depends what you mean by replanting - if you mean digging it up from the garden and moving it elsewhere, now's not a good time, best left till autumn. If you mean moving from a pot to the garden that's okay, although watering is a must for a few weeks afterwards.
