I have small border (30ft) and most of it is under a large eaves overhang. As I am disabled I find it difficult to water any plants, I would like some advice on which perrenial shrubs (not above 3ft high) would be best in these conditions. Many thanks Bill Dare

Are you saying that the area is mostly in complete shade, and doesn't get any rain? Or does it get run off from the eaves when it does rain?
