Thanks to all who answered my last question. I suspected snails where the problem.My new question is. Why are there no fruit on my strawberry plants? They are Alsantas lots of big leaves but no flowers to produce fruit.Thank you in anticipation

I grow strawberries and line the ground with black plastic sacks. I make slits and plant the plants about six to a bag. There is a three year cycle to growing strawberries. The first year you may not get any fruit, Let the plants have runners and pot them into pots then when rooted cut them off the main plant. Then plant those in a patch. Do the same the next year, and the following year dig up the first patch and start again. Hopefully your plants will flower next year. LindaK.
