I have a small olive tree (about 3 years old) that has sudenly produced olives for the first time. Does anybody know how I should deal with them or will they be ornamental only?

My little tree makes olives, but very tiny. Lots of blossom this year, which is really pretty. Mine is in a 12 inch pot and the soil is like concrete!

people do manage to produce edible fruits on their olives in this country, but it needs loads of sunshine and a sheltered position to do so.
