myrtle berries

This question is on myrtle communis

hello everyone, would anyone know if the berries or any other part of a myrtle is toxic? i have one which i have planted near my daughters play area but cant find any reference to if it is toxic - particually as it does have berries?

From my reading you can virtually eat the whole plant!! Berries and leaves are used in cookery. Have a look at this website!
