I HAVE A LOT OF MOSS GROWING ON MY PATIO SLABS. CAN THIS BE ADDED TO MY COMPOST.
ALSO WHEN I DIG OUT LONG TAP ROOTS OF DANDELIONS CAN THE ROOTS ALSO BE ADDED TO THE COMPOST HEAP OR WOULD THEY LATER SPREAD MORE DANDELIONS WHEN I USE THE COMPOST.

Don't add the roots to your compost - they could easily survive and then you'll get Dandelions growing in the compost! Moss seems to be OK if it's broken up and spread around in the bin - not a lot at a time, though.
