Sun Flowers

As the weather is quite bad in the South, im wondering if my sun flowers are going to die? Also any tips on big sunflowers. thanks ;-)

I have some huge sunflowers. The biggest ones are those from yellow ones. I have others that I have grown from red sunflowers and these are a bit smaller. They are growing in sandy soil which has been improved in the past. We get a lot of sun and I guess this is one of the keys.
