Please can you help me my lawn has a lot of wild violets in it I have use weed and feed to no avail,I am frighten to use anything stronger incase I ruin my lawn

Paul, mid summer in not a good time to use lawn feed as the grass is under stress so best to cut long and leave it to defend itself. Regarding the weed problem I would wait for rain so the soil will give up weeds easily, get down on your knees and start pulling up by hand. If you want a lovely lawn you have to suffer!
