can I grow a climbing Hydrangea in a pot in shade

Shade no problem. Re. pot - I think Celandine's right - we are going to be moving house, so I've kept mine in a pot to take with us....the moving has taken a lot longer than expected :( Aaanyway, the hydrangea is hanging on in there quite healthily, but not putting out much growth - maybe I'm making a bonsai! I'm looking forward to getting it into the ground (& quite a few other poor captive big plants!)

You can certainly grow one in the shade - I've got one near a north facing wall. But I don't know about the pot. Its a vigorous plant - what do others think?
