how do i get rid of the black fly on my runner bean plants in the garden without using chemicals?

tried that washing up liquid, not vety good , so now i take them off by running my fingers down the stems and then rub them together, this is a bit messy and time consumming but it gets the little beasts!!

Try spraying with diluted washing up liquid.
