Of course you can just make sure the ground is well prepaired amd that the turf is not allowed to dry out as an insurance sow seeds before laying the turf. hope this helps and good luck

Whilst the best time for turf is October, you can lay it any time - providing you have a hose and sprinkler, and you don't lay it on dry soil. You will need to soak it regularly, particularly during dry spells, until it has rooted in properly.
