I have just received my chrysanths thro the post, they are about 6" tall, I have to pot them up, inJI No2, so they say but what then? do I pinch out the tops immediately or leave to grow for a while, I know I have to wait until after the cold weather, how do I make them busy, thank you

You can pinch them out as soon as you plant them. And then again etc. Xanths don't flower til late summer so by then you should have a nice bushy plant.
