My garden isbecomimg overun with ivy. Until a year or two ago icould buy a product called Ivy Killer and it certainly did the trick. Can anyone suggest a remedy short of going on my hands and knees and pulling it up?

Agree with Bamboo - get a garden fork and get it out that way and it will never come back.

cant you cut the obvious tall stuff down if there is any and then cover the other ivy with dark polythene for a few months perhaps . i guess it depends on how fit you are on one hand against how quickly you want your garden done on the other .

Pulling it up won't work - you need a garden fork and a lot of elbow grease, needs digging out by the roots.
