Hi, the top one looks like A variety called BLONDY, the lower picture looks like Emerald Gaiety, hard to tell tho, a close up of the leaves would help a little..

The second one looks like Euonymus fortunei 'Green and Gold' - the top one could beE. fortunei 'Silver Queen' but I suspect its a variety of E. japonica, as the leaves look slightly large to be a fortunei variety.

Thanks both, I'll put on close up pic tomorrow, I think I may have seen the top one climbing up walls? The second one I have dug up and washed the roots of the dreaded celandine, now hopefully defunct:-)

How do I say thanks?
