Will it grow in shade?

Hi all - does anybody know if a cissus striata will grow reasonably well in shade? The label says a sunny wall, but my wall space is in shade...............thanks!

My book says it needs a sunny warm wall - and that it is tender, so you'd be pushing your luck to try a shady place, I'm afraid Caz.
