HELP!!!
When I checked on one of my climbing roses, I found that one of the new shoots had broken off. I have it in water, but should I just discard it, or will it be able to root using rooting powder?

It may be worth a try, but it looks much to young and etiolated to be a good bet, to me.

Sorry, but I don't think you'll get it to root. Rose cuttings are taken differently...It's most unlikely, but as you have nothing to lose, try it in water. Stranger things have happened.
