Does anyone know the name of this shrub. A friend gave me it a few years ago when it was just a stick. As you can see it now gets these lovely catkins every other year.

Thanks Owdboggy. Just looked it up and now know how to look after it. I think it only flowers every other year for me because I haven't been pruning it correctly. Thanks again.

ooooohhhh I want one, they are so pretty when there is very little else around, I believe it can be a bit tempremental though.

We seem to have lost ours this winter. Will have to go and look if there is any green left on it.
