I also think it looks lovely. You could add colour with coloured patches of gravel glass or slate, lovely blues, white pink or even red! a few coloured pots!

Bergenia Pink Dragonfly, Heuchera Purple Petticoats, Hosta Sieboldiana Elegans, Tiarella Pink Skyrocket, Heucherella Stoplight and Pulmonaria Opal Blue. One good thing is the water in the pond will like being in the shade. Dont forget to plant some spring bulbs this autumn too.

creeping jenny looks good growing over the edge . it mite be a nice place for a sculpture or a few plants in pots.

i have creeping jenny and its come through winter and growing fast even in lawn lol

i liike the way they hang in the pond to.its ideal for wild life to.

yes i also have creeping jenny but she creeps very very fast, it is becoming a thug!

you can just pull it out easy enough to be worth growing it i think.

i didnt realise it was hardy sea,,, till it came back,, well never went really, but love the colour so will put up with it going mad, just keep taking some out
