"I am going on holiday in August and can't rely on anyone to water my tubs and hanging baskets, is there a way of preventing me returning home to dead plants!?"

I have put my plants in the bathtub...you can buy water holding gel... or if you look far enough you'll find planter mix with it already in it! you can always use wicks..ever tried that? It has worked for me... group them together in one spot in someplace moist and shady...good luck.
