I have one San....I don't cut the flowers off until they are obviously finished....there won't be any more this year....just enjoy the foliage.....

The one I have in an urn I replace the top third of the ericas compost every spring as I find it seems to respond by growing a bit thicker. The ones in the ground I just feed.

thanx Drc, im going to feed around my plants this weekend anyway as i need to liquid feed my spring bulbs, was told to do that to encourage more next year

Yes, dead head the bulbs and feed but dont cut off the green for 6 weeks then you can trim or lift, then your bulbs will flower next year. I mark it on my calendar as I get impatient to trim the leaves off if I dont.
