What can I do to revive a 'Dawn'Clematis that seems to have only one leaf on and is withering is there a tonic I can give it to make it pick up/

Try and build the soil up round the stem, also have you got rock or stones round the stem as they d like there feet kept cool, when I plant Clematis I always plant them deep so buds can form deep down..x

Could be one of two things - either it has got too dry and it needs a good drink, or, unfortunately, it is a victim of Clematis wilt. All you can do if this is the case is to cut back the dead shoots and hope that you planted it deeply enough for the root ball to be able to send up another healthy shoot.
