My lawn has a large dip in it from a shrub that was planted by the previous owner. What is the best way to level it out?

if it got grass already you can roll back the area of grass and add some more topsoil to even it out, ive done it where rain collects, cant think of anything else you could do

I agree Sanbaz. I would do it now before the drier months arrive to give the repair time to bed in.

i agree to an old bread knife is good for cutting the grass with a sharp spade to gently cut under the grass and roll it back.
