Privet hedge. I have a privet hedge at the front of the house. Bizarrely hedge on one side of the drive has lost all of its leaves, the hedge on the other side of the entrance still has its leaves. Is this normal ? Will the leaves come back or is it a gonna ?

Hi, it is normal for privet to drop some leaves in winter, not usually all of them, but the leaf drop could have been made worse if you have had very high winds, it's a bit early yet to say if they're dead or not, wait until spring when growth would normally commence, and see what happens, if there is no growth by mid june, then there is a good chance they are dead, Derek.
