you can use yoghurt pots with a few holes in the bottom. then the loo roll inner tube is good for deep rooted plants.

Drinks bottles cut in half and tins as well anything that can hole soil really!!

Just make sure it has a holes in the bottom. If you have a recycling centre near you go along there as they may well have 2nd hand plant pots. Mr MB has aquired hundred for us this way at very little cost (including clay pots!)

clean margarine/butter tubs are also useful but make sure you put holes in the bottom.
Frozen food plastic trays are also handy but make holes in the bottom.
If needs be plastic drinking cups as well, with a couple of holes in the base.
